Shopping, sailing and sight-seeing! How about this for a day out with a difference?


Departure: 10.00 hrs

We welcome you on board with a light breakfast comprising a platter of croissants and pastries, orange juice and a glass or two of Cava or Bucks Fizz.

Sailing south to Cala Santanyi, a picturesque sheltered bay about 8 kilometres from Cala d’Or, we drop anchor, serve coffee and biscuits then take you to the beach where a mini-bus will be waiting to take you to Santanyi market.

Spend a couple of hours browsing round the market in the historic centre of this ancient town, before returning by mini-bus to meet the ship at about 13.30.

Time for a swim before the tasty summer banquet lunch is served . When ready, we sail towards Cala Figuera, by way of Cala Llombards to take in the extraordinary rock caves only visible from the sea.

We will moor up at the jetty of this picturesque fishing village, where the crew will take you ashore for a walking tour before stopping for ice-cream and coffee at a café overlooking the harbour.

At about 17.15 the fishing boats return and we watch them unload their day’s catch; this can include barrauda, tuna and shark. Afterwards we return to Cala d’Or.
